Want to know what designers are making? AIGA has it's own salary survey that gives a five year history of salaries. Apparently the profession is looking up! We can get jobs anywhere! And get paid $90,000. Just kidding, that's for creative directors. But the average, I guess, for regular designers was around $40,000, which isn't that bad.
I looked on Media Bistro for the same information and they really didn't have a lot of information about design. This was a much bigger help.
